Meet Jimmy

Jimmy has a background of outstanding intellectual achievement and career success. Yet he says those things all fade compared to knowing Jesus Christ his Savior. Jimmy was brought up in the Jewish faith, yet an encounter with a Christian at College – resulted in Jimmy seeing himself as a sinner for the first time, in need of God’s mercy. Jimmy was brought under massive conviction for using pornography. Jimmy trusted that Jesus shed His blood to secure the forgiveness of his sins.

Meet Gordon

Gordon put on a front while feeling empty and having very low self-esteem. His life spiraled into drug and alcohol addiction, as well as pornography use and sex. Nothing gave satisfaction. Gordon reached a very low point and was about to take drugs again after completing rehab. But Jesus Christ stopped him and showed him how much He loved him. Gordon placed his faith in Jesus and knows he’s washed clean from his sin. He has found true satisfaction in Christ, is no longer an addict, and has peace and hope for his life.

Grant describes how unburdened he felt to be free from his sins. He also shares how some aspects of Christian living are hard for him, especially in the area of sexual purity. But Grant looks to Jesus for strength and he has an accountability partner.

Meet Nathan

Nathan shares how an older kid sexually abused him while he was very young. He talks about the guilt and shame he felt. Nathan describes that the abuse awakened a curiosity in him – which moved from pornography – to paying for sex – by the time he was a young adult. He knew he had gone too far, and he felt utterly hopeless. Just as he was about to throw himself onto train tracks, God brought to mind a verse from the Bible he had learned as a kid – “The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:32). This was the turning point in Nathan’s life. He believed in the gospel and God started rebuilding Nathan’s life. Today Nathan is married with children and works as a family counseling pastor.
