Meet Deb and Dave

Deb placed her faith in Jesus Christ as a child. When she met Dave as a young adult, Dave did not know God personally. Dave asked Deb if she would date him. She said no but redirected Dave to undertake a Bible study. Following the Bible study, Dave received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Dave and Deb got married and had children. They talk about how God helped them through a very difficult time when their son was seriously ill. Dave changed his job to become a pastor. He shares how grateful he is to God for all God has done in his life.

Meet Crystal

Crystal describes instability in her teenage years, including a teen pregnancy, a party lifestyle, and multiple relationships with guys. Crystal shares how angry she felt towards God when her boyfriend was killed. Crystal became dependent on alcohol and was very troubled on the inside. That all changed for Crystal when she heard about Jesus, and accepted him as her Lord and Savior. Crystal enjoys the forgiveness only God gives, and the steady guidance from God. She now understands that her anger and emotional problems stemmed from her sinful choices.

Meet Connie

Connie shares she wanted approval as a young person and fell in with the wrong crowd. Alcohol became a big part of Connie’s life. Connie thought going to church was about following rules. That all changed when Connie heard the gospel and she accepted Jesus’ work to make her perfect in God’s eyes. Despite finding it hard to hand control of her life over to Jesus, Connie now clings to Him and loves His acceptance of her. God has ended Connie’s reliance on alcohol.

Jenn (USA)

Meet Jenn

Jenn had a happy childhood which quickly turned to deep emotional pain when her parents split up during her teens. Jenn entered into a life of parties, prescription drugs and alcohol to cope with life. In order to support her siblings, she became a model for former Playboy photographers. She feared for her life when a trip away to do a photo shoot turned into illicit activities in which she was held against her will. Soon after her ordeal, she went to church. There she heard about Christ and received Him as her Lord and Savior. She describes how He rescued her. Today Jenn is a wife and mother and leads a ministry that helps others recover from lives out of control. Jenn says she is completely dependent on Christ every day of her life.

Tom shares how he was not interested in spiritual things. He had a party lifestyle, and entered into a sexual relationship with his girlfriend which resulted in pregnancy.
