Marty (USA)

Meet Marty

Marty grew up in the Jewish faith and was very aware of the division and separation between Jews and Gentiles. He talks about a blossoming career in showbusiness. His music partner became a Born-again Christian and started telling Marty about Jesus. He got angry and resentful. He read some of the Bible in order to disprove his friend, only to discover in the book of Mathew that Jesus was Jewish. God continued to draw Marty to Him, through other Christian friends. He reached the point where he surrendered his life and placed his faith in Jesus for the removal of his sins. Marty talks about the privilege of knowing Jesus personally, and how Jesus has removed pride and selfishness from his life.

Roger and Sharon (USA)

Meet Roger and Sharon

Roger shares that his father passed away while he was a boy. They both describe irregular church attendance as a young married couple. Roger knew the gospel but didn’t want to give his life to Christ. Sharon knew Jesus had died for her, but didn’t understand how to receive the gift of salvation. A pastor encouraged Roger and Sharon to place their faith in Christ. They responded and received Christ. Roger shares that his life priorities changed once Jesus became his Lord and Savior. He speaks of his happiness at knowing Jesus, and Sharon speaks of their happy marriage and the joy and comfort she has with the people God has placed in their lives.

Meet Bailee

Bailee always wanted acceptance from other people. She talks about how she self-identified as gay and socialized with atheists and agnostics. She pushed-out any thoughts of God, and hated Christians because of bullying she received from Christians. God worked through Bailee’s College friends to show her what He was really like and that the Bible is true. Bailee accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. She no longer craves approval from others because of Jesus’ acceptance of her. She is excited about the plans God has for her life.
