Meet Nathan

Nathan shares how he was afraid of going to hell and he prayed a prayer for God to save him. But he shares how he was still hard hearted towards God. His fake Christian life became real when God convicted Nathan of his sins and Nathan geniunely turned to Jesus and accepted him as his Lord and Savior. Nathan describes the pain and questions he has about loosing his younger brother in a freak accident. But God has also given Nathan a peace about the tragedy and knows that in the fullness of time, he will understand.

Meet David

David describes a very traumatic upbringing which made him think God couldn’t exist. David joined the army and devoted his life to it. He shares how he hated Christians and Christianity. However, God intervened in David’s life and through a radio broadcast, God opened David’s eyes so he could see how much God loved him. David responded and placed his faith in Jesus’ work to make him right with God. Though David has been through difficult circumstances, he feels unburdened and knows God loves him. He is passionate about telling others about what Jesus offers them too.

Jennifer (USA)

Meet Jennifer

Jennifer started life as a God-hater. She was sexually molested by someone in her church growing up, and she resented God because of her parents jokes that she was supposed to be a boy and God had made a mistake. In her emotional pain, Jennifer turned to drugs and ended up living life on the streets. She was arrested for drug possession and robbery. She went to prison aged 22. Jennifer says prison was the best thing that ever happened to her because she found Jesus Christ there and He freed her from her bondage to sin. Jennifer describes the awesome ways God has changed her thinking and her ways. She is now very active in ministry life.

(Jennifer’s story is presented in the first 20 minutes of the video. Her story is part of a conference presentation including other women who received Christ in prison).

Brooke (USA)

Meet Brooke

Brooke grew up in a home hearing about God and what Jesus had done for her on the cross. But she chose to reject God and push Him away because she was sexually abused as a child. She talks about her anger, hatred, and bitterness toward God. She chased after a worldly lifestyle instead. Then, at a Revive Our Hearts event, Brooke witnessed the way Joni Eareckson Tada coped with her physical suffering yet still loved God. God used this to break into Brooke’s heart and she turned to God and received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Brooke talks about the weight lifted from her, and how God turned her life around.
