Meet Chris

Chris is a well-known sports star. He talks about how his world fell apart when his father died when he was a teenager. Despite having worldly success, he got into a life of drinking which started impacting his sports performance. He knew he was in a mess, and he describes his selfishness. At that time, he became aware of a Christian guy and was very curious about why he was different. Over coffee, his Christian friend opened the Bible and talked him through the gospel. Chris knew in his heart he wanted the life Christ had to offer and he accepted Him as his Lord and Savior. Knowing God has given Chris a real reason for living, and he is confident that his father would be most proud of his decision to become a Christ-follower over any kind of worldly success he’s achieved.

Meet Joe

Joe tells his story of how he killed a teenage girl because of drunk driving. Joe received Jesus as his Lord and Savior while in prison. Jesus has radically transformed Joe’s life over time.

Joe’s out-of-control alcohol addiction led to a car accident and the death of a young woman called Amy. Joe was arrested for second-degree murder. Days after Amy’s death, a prison minister shared with Joe about Jesus and the gospel, that Jesus died for his sins. He was stunned to hear that God still loved him and could show him mercy. Joe repented and asked God for forgiveness for killing Amy. God started changing Joe’s thinking and Joe’s life. Once released from prison, God took Joe and Amy’s family on a miraculous journey of forgiveness and reconciliation. Joe now works for a prison ministry.
