Meet Cody

Cody talks about growing up in a home with good morals but no God. As an adult, he didn’t think he needed help to know God. Cody got invited to a gospel-preaching church and found out that he had deep curiosity and longing to learn more about the Bible and spiritual things. Cody heard and accepted the fact that Jesus died for his sins. Cody describes how God has changed his heart. He feels joy, and so much love towards his wife.

Sam (Australia)

Meet Sam

In this interview, Sam shares that she didn’t grow up in a Christian home. Her parents divorced when she was 8 and that left her very hurt. She found herself curious about a God she never knew. She started learning a lot about Jesus and spent time around Christians. When she finished high school, Sam worked abroad and put God out of her mind. At the same time, she describes feeling very unhappy, knowing she was living a life not pleasing to God. When she returned to Australia Sam joined a church and quickly discovered the acceptance Jesus has for sinners. Sam understood Jesus died for her. She describes the unshakeable joy and contentment she has in her life knowing Jesus and knowing she has eternal life.

Paul (UK)

Meet Paul

Paul explains how he did not grow up in a Christian home in the UK, and had no spiritual interests. He experienced a lot of emotional pain as a teenager because his brother got very sick and his father suffered from a terminal illness during Paul’s teenage years. Paul began a two-year hunt for God following a conversation with a Buddhist. He spent time comparing the different world religions, but in the end, concluded that Jesus was really God. In time, Paul understood he needed to receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Paul is now a pastor in Sydney, Australia. In this interview, he also shares some thoughts from pastoral life.

Albert (Dominican Republic)

Meet Albert

Albert is from the Dominican Republic. He shares that his parents got divorced when he was a kid, and he experienced a lot of poverty and moving around living with different relatives. He emigrated to the US with his father. He began to play basketball, becoming a well-known player in Major League Baseball. Albert talks about his wife and step-daughter who has Down’s Syndrome. Albert’s wife took him to church where he could see the joy that people had. He wanted that too, and he trusted in Jesus’ death to remove his sins. Albert talks about how he is completely different man now, no longer living for himself. God has given him a clear sense of his priorities in life.
