Meet John

John shares that despite being a pastor’s son – he wasn’t interested in God or spiritual things. He pushed God away and hated everything and everyone that reminded him of Christianity. John talks about his involvement with drugs, fighting and encountering the law. God used an assault on John to help him reassess his life. John describes finally believing in the gospel and talking to God whom he had pushed away for so long. Now as a believer in Jesus, John has a radically different perspective on life. He understands the purpose of life and looks forward to his eternal rewards in heaven with Jesus.

Meet Ron. Ron shares how he ticked the right boxes, to make it appear he was a Christian, while covering up his party lifestyle. Ron describes how God intervened in his life and showed Ron’s hypocrisy to him. For the first time Ron understood the gospel was true, that Christ really did die for him, and Ron repented of his sin and turned to Christ. Ron describes the joy and peace that comes through knowing Jesus Christ, and the futility of all those years chasing fulfillment in substances.
